Health & Wellness

Relax and get in shape with YOGA, PILATES,
KUNG FU and TAI CHI at Body Balance's beautiful Clarksburg Studio. Body Balance is off Comus Road, about 5 minutes from Clarksburg Town Center. They offer a variety of classes for health, excercise and relaxation. We've tried their classes and highly recommend them! :)

Libraries

Storytimes and other events for children, teens and seniors. Damascus and Germantown are the closest branches. (A library in Clarksburg is planned to be built in the future.)

Theatre/Dance/Gymnastics/Play

• Black Rock Center for the Arts 12901 Town Commons Drive, (Germantown), 301.528.2260: Classes for kids and adults. Summer camps. Dance, music and theatre performances. Outdoor concerts in the summer.
• The Little Gym (Germantown)
• My Gym (Gaithersburg - Kentlands)
• Little Sprouts (Gaithersburg) - art, music and cooking classes plus lots of open play space.
• Stroller Strides (Local Classes in Gaithersburg and Germantown) Stroller Strides is a fitness program for new moms that they can do with their babies. It includes power walking and intervals of body toning using exercise tubing and the stroller and is taught by nationally certified instructors.

Restaurants (family friendly)

• Silver Diner (Lakeforest Mall): Kids night on Tuesdays.

Mom's Club

• There is a Mom's club in Clarksburg that meets regularly. (See momsclub.com for more information.) Most activities are during the day, but a few are in the evening.
